Glasgow is the largest city in Scotland, and the third largest in the United Kingdom (after London and Birmingham). Glaswegian, otherwise known as the Glasgow patter, is a local variety of Scots. Glasgow has the largest economy in Scotland and is at the hub of the metropolitan area of West Central Scotland. Glasgow is also known for its tenements – the red (or blonde) sandstone buildings are one of the most recognisable signatures of the city. Glasgow is a major centre of higher and academic research, with four universities within 10 miles (16 km) of the city centre.

Largest urban area in Scotland and 3rd most populous in UK, Glasgow is the typical old-mining city. It’s still a beautiful town, full of parks and old houses (there’s even a university standing in a castle). When they are understandable, people are really friendly

Ok, so, speaking a little about Glasgow… Pretty town, cheap, nice pubs, great guys to know, girls, a lot of things to see in Scotland, for not much money.

Plane flight from Geneva, with Easy jet. We really enjoyed the trip, it wasn’t expensive at all and we had great fun. You should see Inverness and Edinburgh, these are beautiful cities.
